The Golden Bank Notes
Even the title "Golden Bank Notes" is protected by copyright. Italian treasury bills, particularly relevant to the history of our national currency, have been reproduced in pure 999.9 gold.
These exact reproductions have been achieved through the most advanced technologies. The colored seals on the right side have been perfectly depicted on thin sheets of pure gold with a width of about 10 microns, both highly resistant and elastic. Such meticulous bank notes were crafted through techniques carried out in the spatial laboratories of the Japanese 'Mitsubishi Materials Corporation'.
The issuance of these bank notes has been supported by, among others, the World Gold Council, a global organization for the promotion of gold, and by the International Bank Note Society presided over by Professor Guido Crapanzano, an expert in this sector.
The Golden Bank Note series begins with the reproduction of the very first 1,000-Lire treasury bill in all of Italian history, issued for the first time in 1746 by the Royal Finance Department of Turin under the leadership of Charles Emanuel of Savoy.
This immortalized copy is exceptionally rare and of great interest. As such, the 1,000-Lire treasury bill represents the first in the series (certified by the #1 imprinted in the upper-left hand corner of the treasury bill) and comes with the matrix. The treasury bill itself is a very unique piece as it was never actually placed in circulation.
